A tree for me?

Last year I got this Christmas tree plant (it's a ficus) as a gift from Kemp. The night of the 23rd he made me cover my eyes and patiently wait as he puttered around the apartment.  The lights went out and when I opened my eyes, a surprise!

I plan to transform this corner into our Christmas "tree" of 2010.

Check back in a week or so for the results!  Until then, here are some tree related Etsy finds:

See them here, here and here.

nine six seven, two thousand eleven

It's December already, less than a month until 2011!  To me, 2010 is two thousand and ten.  I don't think I can adjust to the twenty ten/twenty eleven terminology. I loved the simplicity that was ninety-nine and oh two times.  I miss that.  2011 sounds too much like the future.

Here are some calendars I found around town!

I eat my fair share of apples so this An apple a day calendar would be perfect for my fridge.

This Letterpress Calendar by Seesaw is simple and sweet in gold and grey.

Would love to be reminded of the in season produce by the Perpetual Gardening Calendar.

Oh, how nice it would be to stare at the geometric patterns on this calendar while planning my days.

I love miniatures!  This matchbook calendar is right up my alley.

Non-Rigid Containers

A couple of travelling bags - for that man in my life, perhaps? The last one, j'adore, j'adore! Backpack of my dreams. I've thought about taking on the mammoth project of attempting to sew my own, but why compete with perfection?
